1896 The Journal Baseball Game Supplement Overview

1896 The Journal Baseball Game SupplementThis supplement was similar to others of the time period with individual players and a stadium to be used as a display piece.

It was included as an insert inside of a publication called The Journal in an 1896 publication Shown here are a strip of the players that were included.

These can be found complete and in uncut condition but may supplements were also cut and used, so it is possible to find individual pieces as well. Collectors with individual pieces will be hard-pressed to determine which issue they are from as there are no identifying markings on them.

A total of 27 pieces are on the uncut supplement (24 players, a game spinner, stadium, and a playing surface).
