Wampler House Trade Card Overview
This is a trade card that was used to promote a business.
The card served as an advertisement for the Wampler House – a rooming house/hotel in Vincennes, Indiana. Rooms were available for $1.00 a day at the house located at 426 Main Street.
The card features a black baseball player being hit in the face with a baseball. The caption, ‘Did it ever strike you’ is included next to the picture.
