1937 Senior Service Cigarettes Winter Scenes Overview
The 1937 Senior Service Cigarettes Winter Scenes set features a variety of sports and non-sports cards. As you would expect, the cards picture numerous winter scenes.
The cards are black and white, featuring only a simple title on the front. Backs include a short description of the picture.
Some minor sports are included but the key card for most U.S. collectors is an ice hockey card featuring Wembley playing against another team on their home ice. The card is titled, “Ice Hockey at Wembley.”
Some collectors of international cards may notice that these cards look similar to the 1935 J.A. Pattreiouex set (another U.K. multi-sport issue featuring hockey cards). That is because Senior Service Cigarettes was a Pattreiouex brand.
Senior Service also produced other similar-looking non-sports sets in 1937.

The Ice Hockey at Wembley card is the only major-sport card in the set.
