T330-2 Piedmont Art Stamps Overview

T330-2 Piedmont Art Stamps

The T330 Piedmont Art Poster stamps set included seven different series, including a baseball series, T330-2. Other series included stamps of animals, birds, fish, flags, soldiers, and nations.

As the T202 Hassan Triple Folders set did, these stamps utilized the artwork from the T205 gold border set.

Fronts included that imagery from the T205 issue with the Piedmont Art Stamps name and a white border around the edges. Meanwhile, the backs included a special offer. In exchange for 25 Piedmont coupons, the company would send the collector a Piedmont album for their stamps.

Cards were created by the Liggett and Myers Tobacco Company. Coupons for the album redemption program were to be sent to them at a New York address before the expiration date of June 30, 1915.

As stated on the back, a total of 100 cards were included in the set. However, more than that have already been discovered.

While classified as a tobacco issue, the set could also go under the S-Card classification since is a stamp set.
