1933-34 V357 World Wide Gum Ice Kings Overview
The 1933 V357 Ice Kings hockey card set includes a total of 72 cards. The set has a V-Card designation and was printed in Canada.
The cards were produced by World Wide Gum, who created the ‘Canadian version’ of the 1933 Goudey cards. For that reason, these are also somewhat similar in appearance to those sets with only a color picture of a player on the front along with his name. Often, a player’s nickname was used as his first name with quotations around it.
The cards include color images but only in very soft tones. With only a quick glance, the cards can appear to be black and white.
Unlike the V356 World Wide Gum set, these cards did not include a card number on the front.
