1912 Boston Red Sox Tattoos Overview
The 1912 Boston Red Sox Tattoos are an incredibly rare issue. Only a few known examples are out there and a complete checklist has never been fully confirmed.
These are similar in appearance to the more commonly known 1923 German Transfers issue. Both sets feature cartoon drawings of players and are obviously printed backwords so that when the tattoo or transfer was used, it would display in the correct manner.
Hall of Famer Tris Speaker is the biggest name to surface in the set to date.
