In 1936, Jimmie Foxx appeared on this promotional/advertising pin for Life Bread. The cream-colored pin had a black and white headshot of the Hall of Famer along with his replica signature in black. The top read ‘Yours for Life’ in red ink.
The ‘Yours for’ portion of the slogan appears to have been inscribed by Ruth as the writing is similar to that in his signature.
The pin, measuring slightly larger than an inch in diameter, was a traditional stick type.
