1932 De Beukelaer Biscuits Sports Set Overview
This rare multi-sport issue was produced by De Beukelaer Biscuits in 1932. A total of 100 cards are found in the set with the majority of them being soccer, cricket, and rugby players.
While those sports are the focal point, though, American collectors will find boxers and tennis players here as well, in addition to race car drivers and aviators.
Boxers include names such as Kid Berg and Len Harvey while tennis legends Fred Perry, Betty Nuttall, and Bunny Austin are in the set as well.
The cards are quite small, measuring even smaller than your run-of-the-mill tobacco cards. Fronts have a sepia or black and white image of the subject with his/her name and a card number. The backs of the cards are blank.
