PX7 Sweet Caporal Domino Disc Overview

domino-front

Simply put, the PX7 Sweet Caporal Domino Disc set isn’t for the master set collector. The discs are classified as pins in the American Card Catalog, but are actually discs.

While about 130 different players are in a complete set (team variations for a few players push the checklist to 137), what comprises the PX7 Sweet Caporal Domino master set may never truly be determined.

First, player variations exist among that group of players. Each player has two different poses that are generally similar, but slightly different. But beyond that, different background colors can be found for each player. Finally, in something reminiscent of American Tobacco Corporation sets (i.e. T205 and T206), the PX7 set includes numerous backs. Dominoes are printed on the backs with different numbers showing and those vary for each player.

In other words, a master set of PX7 Sweet Caporal Domino Discs consists of hundreds of discs.

The PX7 disc set includes numerous stars, such as Ty Cobb, Home Run Baker, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, Cy Young, and others.

One unique disc in the set is one that contains generic subjects. One side of the disc pictures a baserunner with the words ‘Home Team’ at the bottom. The other side of it has the same picture along with the words ‘Visiting Team.’
