PC743 Bregstone Postcards Overview
The PC743 Bregstone set included postcards of St. Louis baseball players. Fronts included a sepia tone picture and the backs included the place for consumers to write their message and the recipient address.
At the bottom of the front, there was a caption with the player’s name, team, and league. The caption also mentions the Bregstone name as well as their address in St. Louis.
The checklist for this series has expanded greatly over the years. At the time of its listing in the American Card Catalog, only 20 were seen. Now, there are nearly three times that many known different postcards.
