1931 N561 Bigott Cigarrillos Diana (Diana Cigarettes) Overview
Classified as N561 in the American Card Catalog, the Bigott Cigarrillos Diana set (translated as Diana Cigarettes) was a Venezuelan issue of baseball cards.
Cards featured a black and white player image on the front along the player’s name and a card number in the border.
The back repeated that information and added his position and team. In addition, the back also included a brief statement about the cards in Spanish. Translated, it says:
“This portrait is one of a collection of photographs of baseball players from the Venezuelan Leagues, packaged in our famous packages of Diana (brand) cigarettes.”
The statement is then ended with a printing of the Bigott name, which is a grower of tobacco.
