1930 Chicago Herald and Examiner Babe Ruth Premium Overview
Even though Babe Ruth played for the New York Yankees, you don’t have to look very far to find premium items featuring him in other cities across the country during his playing days. One such item was the Chicago Herald-Examiner’s photo premiums.
The publication created two pictures of Ruth in both a smaller 5″ x 7″ size and a larger picture that was slightly larger than an 8″ x 10″.
The photos read, “Compliments of Babe Ruth and Chicago Herald and Examiner” while featuring a picture of the Babe and his trademark swing.
