1912 Vassar Sweaters Overview

The 1912 Vassar Sweaters set is a rare issue of promotional photographs featuring players wearing Vassar Sweaters. The cards are printed on thinner stock and feature great images of players with the sweaters. The Vassar name appears to be strategically shown in each shot.

The pictures are basic, but attractive. Beneath each black and white photo is the player’s name printed in black ink.

1912 Vassar Sweaters Checklist

The set is said to have five cards in it. However, to date, I have seen pictures of only three – Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, and Nap Lajoie
