1933 Jasmatzi Ramses Filmfotos Set Overview
This was one of many international tobacco card sets featuring movie stars. It was produced by for Jasmatzi Cigarettes, a German tobacco brand.
Cards are basic with black and white images and the actor or actress name at the bottom. Like several other movie star sets, boxer Max Schmeling found his way into the issue due to his immense popularity. This set is almost entirely a non-sports release but boxing fans do have an interest in it for Schmeling’s card.
Several series’ were created as part of a larger issue. Schmeling’s card, in particular, is found in Series 3 and is number 366.
Backs of the cards have a short description of the cards as well as the mention that an album was available for them.

To date, I have not seen any other sports cards from this set other than Schmeling’s No. 366.
