W517 Strip Card Overview
Unlike earlier strip cards from the 1910s and 1920s, the W517 set includes actual black and white images of players. Player names and teams are on the front along with a card number while backs are blank. Also on the front was a card number inside of a circle.
Because they use actual pictures, these have a much cleaner look than the subpar artwork used in other strip card series.
Two different sizes were available and both dimensions are listed above. The cards were also printed in both black and white and with a color tint.
A total of 54 cards are in the set.
