1909 Ullman College Baby Postcards Overview

1909 Ullman College Baby Postcard Yale.jpgThese postcards featured pictures of babies representing various schools and sports.

Each postcard includes a color picture of an infant against a large letter backdrop with the first letter in his school’s name. A cheer revolving around the team is also printed on the fronts. Backs have a standard divided postcard design. Each child has a pair of wings on his back and is wearing his school sweater.

The bottom of the postcard indicates they were produced by the Ullman Manufacturing Company based in New York. Ullman produced other college football series from the same era.

Backs of the postcards state that they are part of Series No. 138. The postcards also are numbered and could be either skip-numbered or more could exist in the set than the ones identified below.
