1933-34 Goudey Sport Kings Football Varsity Game Cards Overview
In the 1930s, Goudey produced several trading card sets. One of the more unique issues was a card game centered around college football.
One unique thing was that the cards were not all issued together as was the case with most game sets. These cards were distributed in wax packs.
The cards had a unique design. On one side, miniature pennants with various names of colleges are printed around the border. The ‘Sport Kings Varsity Football Game’ name is printed in the middle. Backs of the cards have various plays/actions, which are used to play the game.
