1932 Wheaties Minneapolis Millers Photos Overview

1932 Wheaties Minneapolis MillersWheaties was heavily involved with minor league baseball in the 1930s. They produced some postcard issues of teams in the late 1930s and also sponsored numerous Radio Appreciation Day/Night photographs for various teams in the decade.

This was another minor league issue sponsored by the cereal maker – a set of 24 photographs featuring players from the Minneapolis Millers club. The Wheaties name does not appear on this issue as it does on others, but they are believed to have been the sponsor for this release.

While there are no huge stars in the issue, several of the players reached the major leagues. Photos were slightly larger than a postcard and featured black and white images of the players on the front. Each picture also included a replica signature.
