Keep the Ball Rolling Trade Card Overview
This is a trade card promoting a novelties company.
The card serves as an advertisement for Philadelphia Novelty Advertising Company. I am unsure if it was used exclusively for them or was used by other businesses as well, as was a common practice for trade cards.
The card has a white background and is only nominally a baseball card. The company’s name and address are spread out among five baseballs on the card and a bat is displayed that reads, “Keep the Ball Rolling.”
In addition to the Philadelphia Novelty Company name, another business is promoted with a different name and address. That could have been a distributor of the novelty company’s products and that area, perhaps, was used with different distributor names and addresses.
