E.J. Hoehn’s Base Ball Team Trade Card Overview
This is a trade card that was used to promote a business.
The card served as an advertisement for the E.J. Hoehn store’s baseball team. It is not known if the team competed on a recreational level or if they merely donned uniforms for the picture.
The card has the pictures of ten baseball players along with, presumably, some executives wearing suits. Names of the players and people show are printed to the left. Only the last names of the players are printed but the men in suits have their full names displayed.
E.J. Hoehn’s was a clothing store in St. Louis.
