Little Wonder Picture Series (W515-2) Overview

W515 Little WonderTwo separate sets make up the W515 strip card series. Both have a similar look and design with colored pictures on the fronts and blank backs. Both also utilize the same checklist. The second of the two sets (W515-2) is slightly larger than its counterpart and some cards include printing for the ‘Little Wonder Picture Series.’

A total of 60 baseball players are included the set and the rest of the 120-card issue is made up of other famous personalities. Little Wonder Picture Series cards were produced for all of the cards. The Little Wonder Picture Series printing is at the top of those cards.

The printing is spread out so they be confusing to collectors. The cards don’t merely say, “The Little Wonder Picture Series.” Rather, cards (such as the one shown here) will have parts of that phrase on them. Cards with any of those words in the top border are likely from his set.

Overall, the cards are somewhat rare. They are not impossible to find, but the majority of W515s do not have the printing on them.

Most strip cards, by design, are not very attractive. The W515 set, though, tests the limits by fans and is one of the least artful issues among W-Cards.
